I had a virus and was laying on the couch fighting a fever and decided to record a solo show. Topics include CNN Leaks, NASA's big announcement, and I think the Nyquil caused me to black out a bit, so there might be more? Take a listen and find out!

I love waxing philosophical about what our lives will be like in the near (very near) future. "How near" you ask? Ray Kurzweil believes we'll have microscopic robots in our brains in 13 years. Too far fetched? He's got an 86% accuracy rate in predicting future technology and the number goes higher if you consider sometimes he is just a few years off.
Topics discussed: Genetically modified babies; Robot love; Would art made by a computer still be art without the human emotion put into it? A a bunch of other tangents. Plus, I tell a few funny stories about terrible awkward moments with patients.
John Taylor, creator of Twisted Podcast and true crime author joins Savanna and me to wax philisophical about the nature of coincidences; the validity of so called psychic detectives; his experience with Mike and Maleah using the Ouija Board and how tough is the job for the Secret Service under the current administration. We also look into the prospect of future law enforcement with predicitve policing (think Minority Report without the people floating in pools).

On this second of Futurism Friday, we spend thi first 2/3rds of show show ignoring the topic of futurism and instead talk about my battle with death! (spoiler - I won). Then Savanna discusses the mainstreaming of AI in 2017 with IBM's Watson acting as personal accountant.
Thanks for listening to the Wait, Wahat If Podcast!
